i am serious (unless you can post pic/gif of a damaged canelo).

i wouldnt call it ''running''. we just expected him to stand still more than he did. when canelo went to the ropes, 3g didnt get anything done. thats why canelo felt it was safe there. that over hand right was telegraphed like a mfer and 3g didnt see canelos body.

Of course Golovkin can get better. Oscar is promoting the next fight.

wgaf if a fighter is gassed ?!?!?! since canelo made it to the 12th, 3g wasnt able to capitalize on it. in fact, its a more of a criticism on 3g for not ending a gassed fighter.

canelo was too cautious and wasted energy/time with his moving backwards bullshlt. wtf !!!!!!! 3g was begging for the uppercut every time he threw that wideAF right.

2 out of 3 judges had it very close. 1 was ******ed. it was a close fight. wont be close in the rematch.
        I am not blind!

Your eyes did not see what my eyes saw!

I can give a **** ass about all three judges!

        Canelo was gassed and running!

        Accept it!

Actually, Canelo showed some regression in this fight. He had been a little bit more consistent in his pace since the Trout fight. He went back to fighting in spurts against Golovkin and it definitely cost him the fight. Neither one of them will improve but one of them can fight smarter. My money is on Golovkin to come up with a better game plan. Maybe start with attacking the body earlier and more often. Just a suggestion...

No he can't, he's 35 and declining...he wants a guy to just stand in front of him because at 35 a moving target is much more difficult to hit and your legs are getting shot from years and years of running and training, so catching them and then attempting to hit them is very difficult. Your nerve pathways are already made at 35 as well, so change is virtually impossible. The way you throw, turn, etc isn't going tyo change. Small things? Yeah, but any ma jot change is as I said, next to impossible.

And in GGG's case, his fault or not, what a disappointing career, given how talented he was! I don't care about "title defense records," I care about quality opponents. The only quantity that matters is the quantity of fights against quality opponents. **** boxing!!! Stop defending this ****, people! That goes for the media as well. Stop being sellouts, please! The fans need you to speak on their behalf, not defend this!
Cut out big part of the post, not because disagreement, just length.

I hear where you are coming from. Judging has always been a thorn in the side of boxing, but now we have the standardisation of the 'marination' process on top (thanks Floyd, although you weren't the first, you standardised it), and boxing is backing itself into a corner where being a fan is more of a challenge than ever before.

I'll stick with it as I'm a stubborn old goat, but I can imagine if younger again I might not have grown interested in the sport. Back then there seemed to be more frequent match-ups of interest, so one fight would come and go and the next one would already be just around the corner - it was easy to be a fan as there was enough activity to maintain my attention span.

This year has been a great one, but nothing like the past. Just look at 1980. Leonard closed out 1979 with Benitez (end Nov), then Dave Boy Green end Mar (might be who tf is that now, but at the time Green had a big following in the UK and a lot of people wanted this one), THEN Duran in Jun, THEN Duran again in Nov.

During that same period we got to see Hagler 5 times between Antuofermo and Minter. Meantime Hearns was gaining attention and gave us 7 fights in over that time period. Meantime there was that uncomfortable shift to post-Ali and the era of Holmes - had 4 Holmes fights to keep up with. And this doesn't include a bunch stuff that was happening in other divisions.

See how easy it was to be a fan ? Now compare.

I don't see Canelo improving very much. He's always looked very good vs b and c level fighters and other than Floyd, he's had close competitive fights with top fighters. His biggest benefit (other than generous scoring) is his age because he likely won't show any signs of slipping at any point over the next couple of yrs whereas ggg has already showed signs of slippage.
