WHO was the harder fight for Canelo; Lara or Golovkin??

I voted Golovkin but would like to change my vote to Lara. Reason being is that Canelo got a good lesson in how to run during the Lara fight which helped him out during the Golovkin fight.

Being in an actual fight and taking hits that will stay with you well after you leave the ring: Golovkin

Being frustrated because you can't do what you want: Lara

I had Canelo losing against Lara in one of the worst fights of the year. I could have seen it a one point win for Canelo. I thought both guys were terrible with Lara being the main culprit for such a drag of a fight. If I could have given double L's I would have.

Anyways I never want to see that fight again.

Lara was harder. However that fight was closer. I thought Canelo got a gift in that fight also but he made a better case for himself than against Golovkin.

Canelo had a hard time chasing Lara. Lara attacked him effectively back tracking. I think Canelo performed better against Lara because he kept pursuing him and hurting even though he was having a tough time. The pressure wore Lara down in the very last few rounds. There were a lot of close rounds but I gave Lara the majority because his punches were so much more crisper and accurate, and the punch stats were closer.

The majority of rounds I gave to Canelo against Golovkin were momentum changing rounds. In other words, Golvking was ahead slightly in those rounds but Canelo changed the momentum with more effective, crowd pleasing punches. I took those rounds away from Golovkin because he let it happen each time because he simply stopped fighting in those moments.

I'd say ggg. i thought canelo beat lara by a narrow margin and tought he lost to ggg. he also took more hard shots vs ggg. lara was harder to find but ggg applied a lot of pressure...difficult to deal with for different reasons.

Guys were saying Canelo would hit G when he pressed so maybe that was more in Canelos wheelhouse?

He's not a seek and destroy fighter so hunting down Lara was hard. G was right there all night.

Canelo likes to be flashy and that's his problem.
