If canelo won as some think, why did his fans boo him and the decision

Without question, Canelo lost that fight. The occasional flurries and combination punching was not nearly enough to offset or cancel out GGG's overall aggression, work rate and punch volume.

However, when Canelo did decide to release his hands, his counters were a thing of beauty. They were very precise, accurate and eye-catching. It's just that he was too damn deliberate in his punch selection while only fighting in spurts.

He chose and picked his shots very carefully by not fighting three minutes of every round and taking several rounds off where he virtually threw nothing.

Gennady on the other hand was the much more active and busier of the two. That's why I believe he deserved to win that fight.

Actually he did win the fight but was not awarded the official decision on the three judges scorecards.

All good points. When Canelo throws combinations he's a master at it. He just wasn't as active as Golovkin. Golovkin kept coming and Canelo was gassing out. Look we all know what this business of boxing is all about. Make it a draw so "nobody loses" and set up another lucrative rematch. And no matter what anybody says Canelo was clearly booed at the end of the fight. Nonetheless it is what it is and as boxing fans we have to take it or leave it.

To ALL of those posters writing thread after thread about canelo winning, could you please explain WHY all of HIS fans were booing him and the decision, you have all stated how he is the biggest draw since floyd retired, he's the A side, he got to call the shots, he got the lions share of the money, he's the new PPV KING yet MR 97k who has no fans and can't sell PPV was applauded by the fans like he won the fight, I've already put this question to Robbie Barrett, one of the main culprits 3 times with no reply, could some of you please help lil Robbie in his trying time, thanks in advance

Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez had fought the likes of opponents that had the same style of GGG, and they handled it without being labeled as a coward.

Ahahaha......where did all the fans who were cheering "CA-NE-LO!!!" all go after the fight? The whole stadium was in the tank for her pre-fight then it's almost like they left mid-fight and it was nothing but GGG fans left at the end then because NO ONE was cheering for the diva post-fight.

I don't think they're hard to please, Mexico has a long standing tradition in boxing, they are honourable and know when someone is pulling the wool over their eyes

So the camera switched to ggg and the arena erupted, then switched to canelo and all you could hear was booing, pretty obvious to anyone with an ounce of intelligence
