I dont know man. GGG has been on year round drug testing. Cotto I don't think has, so he's been able to "stay young," I'd bet, better. His combinations and speed looked much better than GGG's in his last fight, and he also threw more punches, showing better stamina than he's ever shown. Cotto to me still looks in good form, it's just he was too small for Canelo, which yes, would be the issue with GGG. But given that GGG has declined, I don't think this is the complete destruction it would have been in the past. I see it a lot like the Brook fight.

But GGG is supposed to be getting that last belt off Saunders. If not December, when? Next Fall, after the Canelo rematch in May? Because if they wait all the way until September to do the rematch just to age GGG even more, I hope everyone here boycotts that PPV, because they have aged GGG long enough, it's complete bull****. I hope HBO and everyone puts pressure on Canelo to do the rematch no later than May at the very least.

Saunders in December. Canelo in May. 168 in December, before GGG is completely, utterly shot, and we never even get to see him vs the bigger guys. Sigh... **** they've messed up his career royally. Oscar, BHop, Loeffler, and Abel all suck.

Wow. Here we go again with calling out a naturally smaller fighter who started his career at 140, and an old one at that. Enough with this garbage already. This hype train has worn thin. How about a rematch with the guy you barely beat - Jacobs? Want another smaller guy moving up - what about the impressive young gun Jermall Charlo, who already held a title? He was a 154 lbr., just the way you and Sanchez like them. Why no mention of him? You're supposed to be a superstar everyone fears - how about you finally man up and call out Andre Ward, you know, the guy at 168 you avoided like the plague - even at a catchweight? That is guaranteed to never happen. Just keep lining up those old welterweights and lt. middleweights. The suckers will keep buying into it and singing your praises.

Golovkin needs to get Canelo in the ring again.
          Then Cotto or Saunders.

He should chase BJS or charlo. Cotto is retiring and needs someone easy to beat at 154.

Saunders is finally willing to fight GGG, and Saunders is a MW champion, so why are we talking about Cotto? Of course I'm being sarcastic! GGG is "business man" just like everyone else! He knows Cotto brings in more money than BJ Saunders, Jacobs, or Charlo! I'm not mad at him. Just stop being a hypocrite!
If GGG told the truth about caring about legacy over business, that doesn't his handlers agree. It sure seems like the people running GGG's career are business men and don't care about the sport. They even seemed fine with Canelo aging GGG before they fought because they didn't care if that hurt GGG's chances to have a legacy performance and knock out Canelo, all they seemed to care about was that that would increase PPV buys.

So I don't know if GGG is just an actor who repeats catch phrases, or if he truly means what he says when he's says he's not business man, but whether he's directing it or not, his career has definitely gone in the business-over-legacy direction lately, which is the exact opposite of what they promised GGG was to start with. And certainly it doesn't seem like GGG is telling them "no." If there's an article this week where GGG says, "I don't want Cotto. I want the belt. I told my team, I need my last belt, make the Saunders fight," then we'll have proof he meant it, but if they make the Cotto fight, in the end he signs the contract, so maybe he just trusts his team and does what they suggest, but... anyway...

Since Cotto has been telling everyone who will listen that'd he'd fight the winner, and now he has a chance to fight the real winner for the titles, Cotto should have been expecting to take the fight at 160. Maybe he can get GGG to agree to that 159. -Shrugs-

                Set it up!

Do you really think they want harder fights? They are like the rest of boxers out there. Everyone chases the money and no matter what they tell you Team GGG are no different to others.

Its simple, a good payday for GGG as well as an easy tune up. Also GGG's stock is at an all time high right now beating a name like recognizable name in impressive fashion will only help sustain that. Cottos doesnt want that fight though, I think he was banking on Canelo winning a decision in Vegas and then getting his rematch to cash out on win or lose.

Thank you! agree 100%... They have obviously invest a lot of money in GGG from when they freed him from Germany, they obviously want their monies back that they invest in him. They care more about making that back than staking the cards in GGG's favour.
