I see Golden Boy trying to steal the BJS fight from GGG. Delahoya will throw a ton of cash at him to fight Canelo so that he can have a strap at 160 and still be considered a champ. Then they'll throw mandatories and in house fighters like Lemieux at him. Once GGG is around 37-38 Oscar will call for the unification rematch.

Alvarez has already fought the best multiple times(just like ward) by age 27 while improving every fight, just moved up to 160 & tamed the supposed killer(like ward did) who fanbois stay slurping off.

Now Alvarez calling 4 immediate rematch(just like ward did) & gggroupies are acting like hes scared again(like klencher was & his groupies which are also gggroupies) , despite ggg calling out a jmw that gtards been claiming was tiny that canelo beat up already, I mean seriously? 35 yr old gggs calling out cotto & u are calling canelo a duck 4 calling for immediate rematch, couldn't get any more biased & gay 4 ggg.https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/boxin...arez-golovkin/

I don't think Canelo/Beefy was PPV, and BTW, it sold 50K seats at Cowboys Stadium if I remember correctly, for a fight w/an unknown Brit. Doesn't make any difference WHO is buying tix or PPVs etc. What matters is Canelo is a much bigger cash cow than GGG. And he will be that for the rematch as well. In the meantime, Canelo has several options besides GGG... and the opposite isn't true of Gennady.

Think what you want, makes no difference. As for Canelo/Beefy, I haven't bought PPVs in a few years, and that one was a year ago. It was on reg HBO or reg Showtime. You may be thinking of the Jr fight, was PPV.

Neither Canelo nor GGG can headline a PPV without the other.
Jacobs? Wtf?! GGG already beat Jacobs. Cotto? He's still around? No one cares about Miguel Cotto outside of boxing fans (and there aren't enough in the U.S. to justify a PPV card)

If these guys had promoters worth a ****, they'd jump at the chance to fight Saunders at Wembley in early May. Price tix reasonably, and you'll sell out a 100,000+ person arena. Give it a proper promotion, and don't worry--BJS will make sure it's must-see TV for casuals. Show it for free over here.

When Canelo or GGG beats BJS (which isn't guaranteed, but likely imo), then the rematch in September for the unified (or lineal or whatever nonsense term applies to "undisputed") middleweight title.

The rematch will be massive this way.

Whichever guy doesn't fight BJS can either take a soft touch, lite-prize fight (e.g. Cotto) or take a stay-busy fight. Or just talk **** to Conor for the year through social media to stay relevant.
The foundation upon which to build the hype for a rematch is laid.

Nobody tamed anybody in this fight. They both fought their game plans and it was a good competitive fight.

Where did GGG call out Cotto? Honest question because I didn't see him do it in the post fight interview. Was it is the post press conference? Only thing I could find was Loeffler saying he'd set that up if the rematch was delayed. But even then, that's only because Cotto said he wanted the winner of this fight after he beat Kamegai.

Yes, I saw Alvarez call for an immediate rematch. But then again I've also seen him invite GGG into the ring and tell him Mexicans don't **** around, then drop his belt and wait another year and a half to fight him. I truly hope there's an immediate rematch, but even if there is I don't think it'll be immediate. Canelo is already saying May at the earliest. If he wanted to they could do it in January or February and skip the interim fight, but he is saying to wait another 8 months. I get the draw of fighting on the holidays, but this fight will be popular on any date at any venue they choose. Why drag it out that long?

Then why did I watch it for free, and I'm clueless in how to set up for a free stream?

canelo vs Smith was ppv. multiple people have told you this and you still deny it. the only way you saw canelo vs Smith for free was if it was the replay a week later, since you say you don't stream.

canelo vs Kirkland is the only canelo fight on free hbo since his return. smith, khan, chavez, cotto, ggg all were ppv fights.

here is a link that proves canelo vs Smith was ppv.
