i can tell you the immediate rematch is a NO. canelo is in NO HURRY to get back in there again. you'll see.. and he'll say otherwise... but the next fight will not be the rematch that everyone wants, it will be basically a fighter canelo already knows he can beat.

There are many special fighters who never leaped 2 weight classes. Most special fighters move up one division at a time if they do move up and not all of them (Marvin Hagler and Carlos Monzon etc.) do. Moving up doesn't make 2 weight classes doesn't make you special in and of itself. AND WARD IS TALKING ABOUT MOVING UP TO CRUISERWEIGHT buddy boy. My god the ******

I don't think Canelo/Beefy was PPV, and BTW, it sold 50K seats at Cowboys Stadium if I remember correctly, for a fight w/an unknown Brit. Doesn't make any difference WHO is buying tix or PPVs etc. What matters is Canelo is a much bigger cash cow than GGG. And he will be that for the rematch as well. In the meantime, Canelo has several options besides GGG... and the opposite isn't true of Gennady.

I now Canelo is the bigger money maker, but he wont be making vs Chavez or GGG kind of money. Beefy and Canelo was PPV.
