Canelo had the much more rounded attack and the better defense by far.

    Dumbasses
GGG didnt need much defense, neko weren't throwing much. Nelo defense was good. It stopped him getting stopped. Shoulkdnt score points for it though

The percentage of power punches landed was significant in canelo's favor actually

Defense is something judges score, which one avoided shots better?

he gassed in round 4 when he was pretty much dominating the fight, but im sure ggg being a monster that feels no pain didnt help. Maybe it was the extra weight?

The fight ended in a draw, it could have gone either way, and it is time to move on and stop picky nitting such a close fight. We have Charlo, Jacobs, GGG, Canelo, Saunders, Derevyanchenko, Lemule, Rob Brant, etc. Time to await some great fights. I bet Charlo is going to bring some excitement to the division. He is a serious threat.

Yeah it had something to do with it. GGG is probably the biggest and strongest opponent yet. And yet he still beat his ass.

And anybody who hasn't realized that Canelo has cardio issues in his fights hasn't watched enough.

Most fans don't seem to rate body shots unless they score a KD or they're landing in high volume. People like head hunters. Most fans also rate offense over defense. How it's always been.

I don't have anything bad to say about either fighter. They both tried to fight to their strengths and it was a good fight. Happens to be that it was two world-class fighters in the ring.
