Canelo was in absolutely best shape of his life. He was confident and he started faster and stronger than usual, he didn't intend to run. But he didn't expect that he would tire out too early in the fight. GGG weathered the storm on the first 3 rounds and then forcefully continued pushing and maintaining the pace, which made Canelo tire out earlier than he usually do. It's absolutely nightmare, if canelo didn't run he could have been stopped or knocked-out despite his great chin.

In the rematch Canelo is going to find a way to prolong his stamina, but GGG would now implement more body punches than the first fight. Canelo could be sapped once again. He had to go balls deep in the rematch try to fight inside a lot more and trust his great chin. All that running with his heavy cement feet is just making him tire a lot earlier in the fight.

BTW, Jcob did not win. Close fight, but I think the knockdown gave GGG a clear Victory; Thought the Canelo-GGG was closer.
He didn't fight off the back foot. That's just another "he was running" myth. He changed directions in the first part of the the fight and confused Golovkin. Once he was more comfortable in the latter rounds he stood his ground at times and even went forward.

The KD actually made it closer (in Golovkin's favor) than it was. Jacobs won the fight but he got jobbed to make room for this epic, inconclusive draw. You're right about this fight being closer but we still got the wrong results.

I was a long time Cotto fan until he started doing that, then was on the bus out of Cottoville real fast.

Hopefully someone gives Canelo some PR lessons. His dedication to the sport is at a legendary level, but he can screw up his support base really easy by being a ****.
Oh yeah man...they basically disown someone down there for that...yeah, I remember when Cotto started referring to himself in the 3rd person...PR lessons can't humble you, they can maybe teach you how to fool people into thinking you're humble, but in the end, the truth always reveals itself.

Nobody booed jacobs the boxer with the 2nd highezt k.o% among champs all but 3 of his wins came by k. O like 36-1 30 ko he ran off the get go but since canelo is mex they expect him to dump game plan and go angulo vs a bigger ko machine canelo gets ko bcuz his timely punches that are not usually seen he has like 14 fights going the disyance hes no puas olivres, carlos zarate, pipino cuevas or that type of fighter hes a slick boxer puncher who uses power when he knows hes the stronger guy his style was make him miss make him pay and ggg never missed and payed so much get off his ass jacobs was 185 in his fight with ggg taller more powerful k. O wise than nelo and ran much more and u applauded him you wanted canelo to either be hagler or hearns and go all out he just simply not that type of guy b happy we got a grreat fight and possibly get it again once maybe even 2wice since these guys match up so well f. Got to agree, that no one booed Jacobs.

You can't fool the public.. I must admit, Canelo put hell a fight, but the winner was GGG.

When you get a card 118-110, it's clear as a day that fix was in.. So nothing could have made GGG a winner beside a KO. So Canelos tactic was to run to the decision, regardless of how he makes it. Again he fought great, and I enjoyed the fight greatly, but Golovkin edged it by two rounds.

                1. GGG was overhyped(for ex. Was supposed to be the best at cutting the ring off but couldn't against a cement feet fighter in Canelo)

(His power did not affect a 160 debut Canelo like the majority predicted)

                2. Most people do not know how to score a boxing match correctly! No matter what! There are 4 scoring criteria's and you must question who did more of what they wanted in the ring!

Did Canelo choose to do what he wanted? Or did GGG force Canelo to fight him toe to toe which is his biggest strength? You decide got damn it!

                3. Canelo exceeded expectations!
(Who'd knew coming his biggest strength in the fight was his footwork and he showed immaculate footwork)

(He set traps using his feet by distance control of where he wanted to go and leads GGG to and then countered intelligently using the positon he set himself into)

(Also he had more than enough power to keep GGG honest more than a dozen times in the fight. There was a round where he caught Golovkin with a shot to the body and Golovkin immediately clinched)!

(His chin was superb as he took a couple flush shots and didn't wobble or was even close to getting dropped)

(Did what most thought was gonna get him KO'd and stayed on the ropes numerous times in the fight to either use it as leverage to counter effectively, help with defensive maneuvering or just to take a breather)

                4. GGG has an iron cast chin!! His durability is amazing he took some punishment in that ring and no one's talking about it because he never buckled! He's an incredibly tough fighter and ate some hard counters he didn't see coming and never went down!

                5. GGG fights the same in almost every fight except the Brook and Lemule fight and somewhat Jacobs!

I say he has 2 levels to his game so I disagree that he's one dimensional!

                6. Canelo's defense was great, he made a guy with insane stamina miss majority of his punches who likely threw about 650(don't trust compubox like some of you idiots)!

                7. Canelo can't win with the fans unless he knocks out GGG and GGG can't outbox Canelo!
I actually agree with everything you said. I've been so hard on the decision that I didn't give proper credit to Canelo. It was a good showing for his first legit fight at 160. I think Canelo did what he wanted to for the most part. However, I think he went to the ropes to take a breather. The problem is he didn't do anything when was there and Golovkin missed a lot. Canelo's defense was good but again he wasn't doing anything in between. He landed sporadically but it wasn't enough for me to give him the decision. Also, for him to still show some life at he end of the fight is a testament to his heart because he gassed around the 5th or 6th round. Golovkin had a higher work rate but he didn't outbox Canelo.

canelo and ggg are both legit no need to bash either guy unless youre a fanboy or a hater or both
One of the reasons is Able. He's the one promising knockouts. For this fight G did say he wanted to KO Canelo but usually he doesn't say much. Able should just keep quiet.
