Canelo made GGG miss tons but compubox is not showing this

Even some of the hits, Canelo did a great job of blocking which is why we didn't see much visual damage on Canelo when other men have had their faces crushed in by GGG's power

Canelo was going to destroy Golovkin according to old BHop. It's not hard to see why he's opinion is worthless.

GGG didn't let him off the hook. He couldn't land consistently. GGG was definitely the aggressor and pushing the pace of the fight, but he wasn't landing much. Both guys landed some good shots, but Canelo landed landed most of the hard shots in the fight. He just fought in spurts because he couldn't match Golovkin's pace. Canelo's defence kept him in it. He must have been hitting GGG hard enough that GGG couldn't be reckless. I can definitely accept a GGG victory, but I don't agree that he ran him over or that he won easily. It was a very tough fight for both of them.

I was rooting for GGG but Canelo won the match.

Canelo was easily making GGG miss and then coming back with his own counter punches for whole of the match. GGG looked like an idiot just walking in there like a truck while Canelo would create distance and counterpunch.

canelo landed the better shots, defense looked great but he didn't do enough plus him gassing that fast was not a good look! looking at it again I can see a draw but I still give the nod to gggeee

I get the impression Hopkins is a very intelligent guy, it's just a shame he can't get out of his own way. It's like he can't ever get that chip off his shoulder so always has something to say, and it's usually wrong.

Great fight between two great fighters but a weird decision-WEIRD
Okay most of us with a brain realize boxing is a fixed sport controlled by seedy greedy promoters where cash is king and titles mean nothing. Golovkin will get another huge payday in the 2nd fight. Canelo fought well and came through as a warrior but Canelo lost the fight to GGG. But most of us in the know behind the scenes said a 2nd fight and a 3rd was where the big money was at. Vegas wins large in this also. Granted the woman judge Bryd should be banned from boxing period. But GGG got paid in full and gets the opportunity to beat up Canelo a 2nd and 3rd time for more cash.
Boxing is a fixed sport with fighters occasionally losing on purpose. Wlad threw the Fury fight and most believe Wlad made over $50 million in losing the fight. The stench of boxing with diseased air will always permeate and rot the the boxing scene. Boxing is filled with low class gutter kids with nothing from the bottom of the crooked life's barrel.
