The draw is not the answer, most people had it 8-4 Golovkin.

The fight wasn't very close and a draw was the wrong result.

The round by round scoring was close as close as 7-5 (being generous to Canelo). I had 8-4. I'll watch it again at some point but I just don't see it closer than that. Canelo had so few, of any rounds, where I came away and said clear Canelo round.

The war as I call it was far more definitive for Golovkin. That's how most people see a fight. They see it as a whole and not round by round.

When you have basically all the boxing press, most of the boxers and trainers I've seen who've commented and the fans saying one guy won you know something is wrong.

Which two rounds were clear, the 12th I assume and 2nd or 3rd? I agree overall though you had to give every close round to Canelo to get a draw. If that is what you are doing then that person has an agenda IMO.

I had the Jacobs fight 115-112 for Golovkin but 6-6 yes completely in the realm. I had the same score as you in this fight.

sure, 3g was moving forward pressing the fight, but he was all jab, no combos.
dozens of his rights missed canelo wide or landed on the top rope.

canelo landed way more body blows
3g landed way more jabs

they cancel each other out

whats left is who landed more*

*(when a guy throws 1000 punches, chances are he will land more. the % were almost identical)
