I know her card was ridiculous but bottom line was the fight was close as hell, people r using that 118-110 as an excuse to ***** on canelo. That score shouldn't take away from how good and competitive that fight was. Watched it 4 times already.

The card was bad, the result wasn't. Let the Golovkin fans cry the fact is it was a close fight that will go down as a draw. They aren't changing anything.

Of course they would still be crying robbery, but they would be a little less justified in their anger.

Now had the fight been ruled a win for Canelo, I'd be calling the decision unjustified my dam self.

While a draw wasn't what I thought it should be, I can see how you could score 6 rounds for Canelo. So the fight being ruled a draw is something I can live with.

It's a shame that card was so bad, because if we had a 114-114 and 115-113's each way, the way this fight is viewed would be totally different

So there are some realistic people on here and it's not just GGGroupies everywhere crying robbery. I thought Canelo won the fight close but you can't argue a robbery either way. If you watch it without the commentary i'm more than sure you'll see it the way I did, very close. People who are saying GGG won clearly either got swayed or started watching boxing in the last year or less. Brainless trolls.

Probably. The fight was close enough on my book to swing either way, and I think a draw was the appropriate call.

The fight wasn't very close and a draw was the wrong result.

My guess is, if not for 118-110 card, another slow motion replay resurfaces everywhere. With that ridiculous score however, it's not needed anymore.

I personally had it 7-5 GGG. Being a boxing fan for over 20 years I know that NSAC judges are just as big of players in a fight as the competitors for doing nothing. Everyone in my house knew GGG was fighting 4 people. It's the current standard but boxing fans should not be ok with this **** and accept corruption as being part of the game! If I were a casual I probably enjoyed the fight until the end then felt confused. It should be all about competition and not about other people"s money. The fighters deserve better than this because they put it all out on the line for themselves and in the end we are nothing but spectators.

To answer the question there would still be a lot of crying simply because GGG is the most hyped-up fighter of the modern era so a lot of people are in love with him. Even if Canelo legitimately clearly beat him there would have been cries of robbery and tons of excuses. He'd have to KO to get full credit for it.

Just the way it is. There's way more "casuals" and fans of 1 fighter than there is real boxing fans nowadays. Which is why there is always so many extreme/silly threads on here. Most people DKSAB and it's really showing again after this fight.
