Almost no one thought Canelo won. Deal with it. Your name is appropriate.

Why am I thinking there's something wrong with a sport where the public clearly see a fight so differently to the judges and a few self proclaimed experts? I'm not exactly saying we should bring back the days of victory by crowd acclamation, but I'm thinking maybe there's something to be said for not looking too deep. Any position or any scorecard can be argued (and often is) by the varied extremes of fans and haters on this website. Perhaps public polls on social media really are the way forward - it's supposed to be a sport for the masses after all - maybe our endless bickering could use a little dose of what the rest of the world thinks... just a bit of common sense and good old visceral reaction to a fight. Maybe we've grown a bit too insular in our closed little world of internecine bickering. Just a thought.

            Absolutely agreed.

I've made a thread with all poll results in one and it's a landslide for GGG:

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

I know gray areas are something like only 40% of the regs here believe exist so subtleties are bound to be misunderstood by all the mongoloid thinkers here, but the main point I'm bringing up is there are close rounds that people that have seen enough boxing & scorecards know are disputable enough that the margin of error in this fight is great enough that a Canelo win, a GGG win & the result we saw are all plausible outcomes & my major disagreement with anyone about this fight is those that think ANY OUTCOME is CLEARLY the ONLY OUTCOME.

Because all they saw was one guy putting on pressure with higher output (even if many shots were bloccked and missed) and the other guy in danger because he was against the ropes

8-4 GGG. Nelo was a huge step down from the Miracle Man.
