canelo said hell show how a mexican fights.. instead he showed exactly how mayweather fights. only difference is he has more power than floyd but canelo was on his best mayweather impression last night. had that been floyd in there he wins a wide decision over ggg.

this fight is exactly how cotto vs margarito 1 would've ended with no plaster.

Like Canelo has said at every opportunity he learned a lot from fighting Mayweather. As to this "Mexican style" idea, that is something of a stereotype conjuring up some brute with no intelligence or defense just wailing away at his opponent. The greatest Mexican fighters, Finitio Lopez, Salvador Sanchez, Marquez Chavez Sr. and others had courage but also fought with defense and intelligence in addition to a sound offense.

then why didn't you stand and fight. You ran, you did NOT box and score consistently you ran from confrontation the majority of the time. You said you were going to bring the Mexican Style you fought like a ballerina not a Mexican Warrior. Chavez, Ortega and the rest of the great Chiefs have to be embarrassed after all of your tough talk about KOing Triple G. You got tired and punked out, someone was making you run and the ref didn't throw any punches.

I get it but keep in mind most of those folks are into hero worship and not into boxing.

The problem is the hero worshippers seem to outnumber the ones who have a geniune interest in the sport. I think the site would be a better if the majority of them would move on to something else. In a few weeks you'll have them spewing the same BS about Golovkin being some unstoppable monster who other boxers are afraid to fight. God forbid Canelo don't sign up for the rematch immediately. He'll be labeled a coward and afraid to face Triple G.
