Keep thinking that nonsense. It was confirmed that Lara's promoters never gave the offer. Lara can talk all he wants. He "won" a fight where he got busted up in a manner similar to this one and was talking like he was the ****. No one cares what Lara says lol. Otherwise... "show him true Mexican style!" am I right??

Oh yeah, and Jacobs had these other factors:

*Strong chin (held up better than Canelo's)
*Powerful combination punching (Lara throws jab jab jab straight left, like are you kidding me)
*A home town advantage

Now, take in these factors, along with other qualities of Jacobs that Lara does not totally outclass, like Jacob's slickness. Also his ability to alternate southpaw and orthodox which we've never see from Lara. THEN add in the previous indisputable facts like punching power, size advantage, fighting in his home city, and Jacobs still lost to GGG.

*What* comparative edge does Lara have that will make GGG unable to do anything? If Canelo hurt Lara, then GGG will break him.

Keep thinking that Lara could even get corrupt enough judges like Byrd to not get blown out. If he even survives to a decision, that is.

Oscar told this would be a real fight. Lampley and Kellerman talked up this fight up this fight like it was the Super Bowl. How do you think people would respond if the Super Bowl ended in a tie?

If Canelo didn't feel Golovkin's power he should have generated more offense. He looked tired and resorted to one or two shots at a time. Golovkin was stalking but hardly connecting. When he landed it had zero effect on Canelo.

This is a poor example of elite boxing if this is what we have to look forward to again. Mayweather showed how easy it is to beat Canelo. Jacobs showed Golovkin is not special. I wish the fans would admit it and stop pretending this is the best boxing have to offer. Ward, Crawford, and Spence are levels above these two. Hopefully Lomachenko lives up to his hype.

Alvarez is at his absolute prime and he had to take a minute off each round in order to answer the final bell.
