I agree it was close, just wanted a clear winner.

I was actually going for Canelo in this fight. I stated in previous post that if it goes 12, Canelo wins. Now that it's a draw, how can you convince someone to pay for that again?

Simple, it wasn't a robbery, I think most that know about boxing would would say it was a close fight. With that being said, I think competitive, close fought fight could always be 're sold to the public..especially a fight of this magnitude. I say a rematch would sell close to the same amount of ppv this fight did, and it wouldn't surprised me if it sold more

The Arena was a pro Canelo before the fight but during the post fight interview Canelo was booed everytime he talks and GGG was cheered when it was his time to talk. it just shows the displeasure of the fans to the decision and to the fight itself

Nonsense! Canelo was booed even before the fight started during the announcements.

Also, the camera showed and the commentators made note of the fact that there were people holding up GGG posters all over the arena.

Getting booed is not a scoring criteria anyway!

I was talking w my moms avid boxing fans. She pretty much said it straight up. Canelo won the early rds and rounds 11/12. Which is what I had. 7 to 5 Canelo. However if it were 7-5 golovkin I was ok with it. Here is the other problem. People were saying GGG would kill Canelo. That Canelo couldn't take a punch because cotto's grown as man brother hurt him when he was 19. I'm meanthis forum creates madness. It was a fair fight. A draw is not unreasonable. GGGis way over rated. And ward would kill him. Not even close.

Ward would cheat, period. If Ward was called on his fouls like Canelo and ggg were tonight, he'd be DQ by round 3

So you're saying GGG was the CLEAR WINNER?? First two rounds were clearly canelo, so we're the last 2. You're telling me you can't give him 2 rounds between the 3rd and 10th? First two rounds were not clearly Canelo, in fact ggg landed more. 2-2 after four was right. GGG ran away with it after.

Canelo had spurts, but he landed mist on gloves.

I get people don't know what they're seeing, but some things are too clear.

The amount of people who've actually boxed calling thus a political decision is funny.

Canelo fans gonna spend next five months saying guys like Crawford, Khan, Pavlik, Holifield, Lennox Louis, etc, etc, etc, don't know boxing.
