GGG is trash who did nothing but beg to get his ass whooped.

He had nothing for Canelo. The scorecards are comical.

Too slow to establish his jab, as Alvarez was faster and would counter.

Alvarez reduced the strength on GGG's punches to very little with the body attack.

People think because gennady managed to corner Canelo against the ropes and throw some empty punches that it counts for something but since Canelo would slip or get off the most damaging blows during those moments they are mistaken.

A ****in shame. All Alvarez has to do is get his wind up and he'll spark GGG out. KO easy.

I had rounds 1-3 for Canelo and the rest for GGG. Being in the United Kingdom I was absolutely shattered towards the end and probably could have watched rounds 10-12 a little close and wouldn't smart anyone who suggested Canelo won two of those.

The deciding factors for me are as follows: GGG won rounds clearer than Canelo did and when close rounds did take place in terms of punches landed and damage GGG deserved the round by virtue of being in control. I think this aspect of ring generalship is most clear when comparing the first couple rounds to the rest of the fight.

The momentum change happened after round 3. In the first few rounds Canelo moved well and was pushing GGG back when he decided to open up. After this point (due to GGG finding the range and getting to grips with what angles he could work from) Canelo was moving straight back at a fast speed and could no longer discourage GGG from doing his work.

I can see anything from a tenuously arguable draw to 117-111 Golovkin.

Had Canelo winning. The cleaner and effective punches came from him.

I don't score punches that miss or hit the arms, sorry. I have noticed that a hard puncher has to do less to win the views of the sheep. They land once and people convince themselves that they took the round.

I blame that idiot Kellerman popularizung the view that the round shpuld be scored based on who you would rather be.

Don't have a round by round score but I viewed it as a comfortable win.

Has there been a "50-50" fight recently that didn't end in a totally inconclusive disaster/bad decision/etc? Trying to think

I don't actually mind a draw (to an extent...)

But the judges who had Alvarez winning ten rounds?

                      GGG won this fight easily.

                      Saul "Regalo" Alvarez...

Canelo's gift is not even a win but a mere draw.

For my brothers who don' speak Spanish: Regalo = Gift
