I like both fighters, and what they bring, but saw GGG edging it but they sure as hell will never make me forget Roy Jones who was fistic art and was like watching a blur. 160 version of Jones would have had his way with both fighters and with any middleweight anyone has seen in a long time. But not matter what your definition of MEXICAN STYLE is, that was NOT what Canelo showed....and what Salvador Sanchez, Jose Pipino Cuevas, Chavez brought to the ring was FAR from what Canelo showed.

Wanting to hurt somebody who just hurt/tried to hurt you, particularly in a sport based thereon, does not "reveal sociopathic tendencies."

Now, if GGG turned somebody into a permanent potato with his punches, and gave zero ****s about him, thst would be sociopathix behavior - which is the inability to have empathy, or remorse, or care about hurting ppl..

Need opinions from the forum because I don't want to read the 80 pages of the post, I had a party for the fight and I did not score, overall was a great fight with exchanges and great moments on both sides, but just from watching the fight first time without scoring and not paying huge atention but I saw a very fight, I saw a Draw.....................Did I have it right? or someone saw a clearer winner.

it was a good fight, picked canelo by comfortable ud but ggg surprised me with his defence, he caught lots of canelo punches on his gloves. his chin is iron and his stamina impeccable, he should have gone to the body more but think he was cautious about getting countered so kept his gloves up a lot.

canelo gassed out again which was a bit surprising and was missing lots of punches though his defence was on point he avoided the right hand all night.

draw is probably fair result it was really close fight, dont want to see an immediate rematch because it would be the same.

Fans are blind because Oscar de la Hoya won the fight not Canelo nor GGG and he will continue to make millions of dollars in the rematch. Enough said!

Lol, that's hardcore brother flying out to see a fight in Vegas of all places! I usually wait to see them live here locally...when I heard the first score card I was like WTF??! and then at hearing the first 114 was like "phew!" ..at least they didn't outright rob him, GGG had too much respect for Canelo (and rightfully so) in the first 4 rounds of so.....let's hope adjustments are made BY BOTH PARTIES for the rematch, although, HONESTLY, I see it favoring Canelo...unless GGG just does GGG because let's be honest, he wasn't GGG tonight, he never really unloaded anything big like in his previous fights...Could it have been age? His first major PPV against his first major opponent? The rematch will answer those questions, if they come to terms....

Thanks and I am actually working on a forum post right now because as someone who back Golovkin in this fight, Canelo deserves some credit but waiting until May 2018 for a rematch to me is pointless. This at best should be a January rematch with a unification in May if it comes to that.
