Canelo didn't do a thing for about 8 rounds apart from a few flashy shots.

Before anyone says "that's how Floyd won his fights" - nah, Floyd was always in control in his fights though. Canelo was being bossed around the ring for most of the fight.

This is truth. He constantly conceded ground, that's not ring generalship, that's giving it up.

Canelo did land good counters and the more clean power shots, but GGG far out-landed with those jabs in every round and some of those jabs were causing Canelo to back off, circle around to regain composure, his power shots rarely did that to GGG. Close fight but GGG owned the ring and won that behind his jab.

That judge Byrd is incompetent. Golovkin won the fight but Canelo was formidable. Vegas all set up for the rematch and the cash influx. All in all it was a good fight. Even though Canelo had youth on his side, he was the one gassing out. Golovkin kept coming.

I scored it a draw as well (114-114) But you can make a case for either fighter depending on what you are looking at; Canelo's defense was outstanding, countered beautifully and landed more power punches. Golovkin is an insane pressure fighter, a freaking terminator relentlessly pursuing its opponent, and what a chin he has, not to mention how well he took all those body shots... 115-113 to either fighter is pretty acceptable, but that crazy Adalaide Byrd needs to go to the eye doctor.
