Whoever scored his fight a draw or for Canelo has clearly watched the fight with bias in his/her f****g eyes. GGG got robbed and you could see it in Canelos eyes in the fight he knew he was done. GGG is all class look at him smiling at the end even though he knew he had just got robbed.

I realized when they introduced GGG 1st that there was too much money in his future for boxing as a big draw and that GGG was going to get screwed unless he got a KO. And when I heard the ridiculous HBO commentary and how hard they were selling Canelo...I hard even less doubt that was going to be the case.
Canelo was physically and mentally beat by the second half. He got his ass kicked and the decision was shameful. It was an Dependence Day gift for Mexicans who I guess paid for the fight. The fans were booing Canelo when they interviewed him and the majority were there to support him.Last edited by jaded; 09-16-2017, 11:41 PM.Comment

G missed 1/3rd of his punches. But he connected on quite a few punches, especially in rounds 5 and 6.
Don't let Canelo's illusion of a partially rolled punch fool you dude. He was eating, and in fact wobbled at one point, I believe that was round 12.Comment

Canenlo didnt have ring generalship or enough output to win rounds if youre spending half the round running or on the ropes how do u win rounds with one good counterComment

But nothing that hurt Canelo, he was more fatigued in the last round than anything by ggg's constant pressure. He was pressuring the hell out of Canelo but not landing anything effective.
Canelo was returning everything ggg threw and doing it cleaner especially to the body, he straight up murdered him there.Comment

He was landing all the cleanest shots that had ggg's head snapping back. Name a single time ggg hurt Canelo, just 1. He didn't, he couldn't, he was missing almost everything he threw and getting countered back. Center of the ring Canelo took it, body work Canelo massively outworked him.
Seriously, people keep making the same mistake of not counting body punches.Comment

And you people need to get off this "but he wasn't hurt doe!" bend. The measure is CONNECTED punches, not damage.
"...covering boxing back in the 70's, what was I taught about how you scoring a boxing match? Unless there's a KNOCKDOWN...the aggressor almost always wins the round. Who was the aggressor in this fight, seriously, who was the aggressor? Gennady Golovkin was the aggressor!"
115-113 for G is the right score. I wouldn't call it a robbery, but Adelaide Byrd's score as always is a joke.Comment
