Would you say that Delahoya's first real loss came from Mosley ?

Yup. Close fight. Could have gone either way but when your up and coming and more aggressive and your an old veteran making him miss I can see why judges would give it to DLH. No excuses DLH won the fight but there are others who will always feel different.

delahoya got beatin to the punch and got beat on all night in the first fight with shane

when i was at the gym this weekend ,...me and this mexican dude got into a big heated arguement about delahoyas first loss, he tried to tell me that the only loss delahoya has ever loss was against bernard hopkins...i was like WTF? come on now man...i mean damn man we went back n fourth , back n fourth... yelling n **** , it was kinda funny ... the trainers kept coming up to us asking us if we were ok ... mexicans love delahoya man
Well, he gave away the Tito fight...though, personally, I still had Oscar winning...he, in truth, has no right to ***** about the decision because of the way he finished it.

But, as far as the first guy to actually beat him rahter than him losing a fight...yes, I think that's a fair statement....Mosley I.

He was coming on strong because the point deductions by Steele made i fight more aggressively than was his nature and he got caught by a great counter hook.
If Steele hadn't deducted 2 points for phantom fouls, Carr would have been more relaxed and not played into the counterpuncher's game.
Of course we can never know for sure that Carr would have won, but he certainly looked like he was going to before he was forced to become more aggressive.

i think the low blow was a good one, but ther head butt faul should of not been a point deduction.
altho when its unintentional the ref is allowed to take one point. intentional headbutt fauls are 2 points

I had De La Hoya losing to Mosley (2000), Sturm (2004) and of course Hopkins in 2004. I watched that Sturm fight recently and gave DLH the first 5 rounds and Sturm everything after. And even in the first 5, Sturm could have pulled one round out. But Oscar definitely lost that fight.

The low blow was on the beltline, and the clash of heads was both fighters' fault.

Regardless, no warnings were issued prior to the point deductions for 2 highly questionable "fouls".
