i saw the trinidad fight and even though delahoya was doing the square dance , ...i still think he beat trinidad... and shouldnt have lost that fight ...

delahoya got beatin to the punch and got beat on all night in the first fight with shane


when i was at the gym this weekend ,...me and this mexican dude got into a big heated arguement about delahoyas first loss, he tried to tell me that the only loss delahoya has ever loss was against bernard hopkins...i was like WTF? come on now man...i mean damn man we went back n fourth , back n fourth... yelling n **** , it was kinda funny ... the trainers kept coming up to us asking us if we were ok ... mexicans love delahoya man

yea and he still loss...de la hoya lost the first 8 or 9 rounds..quartey was jabbing de la hoya easily..de la hoya won the last round 10-8 but that still wasnt enough

Delahoyas first convincing loss was Mosely back in 2000. I actually thought he lost to Pernell Whitaker back in 97 who he beat. Controversial dec IMO.

He has got a couple "breaks" and has also got the short end of the stick IMO against Trinidad, but Hopkins is not the only loss Oscar should have IMO. I don't bust Oscar's balls because his resumee and what he's done for the sport should get him the benefit of the doubt IMO, the amount of big fight's he's had and he's not the only 1 to get a questionable decision in the sport. I'm neutral I don't hate Oscar and I'm not 1 of his biggest supporters either just calling it like I see it.

Quartey dropped Delahoya in the middle rounds , cant remember which round but dropped him with a left hook.
