Well he won on all the judges cards pretty handily. And he wouldve fought Pirog and Eubank had they not pulled out. So its fair to say he faced the best the division offered. Carl never went up a weight, he didn't even want Cleverly.

Golovkin fought or tried to fight the best in the division, even Pirog and Eubank Jnr weren't he's fault. But he's fought the best middles. And Carl never left he's own division, even claimed Nathan Cleverly was too big for him.
