I'm with you on this one Koba. Neither are "cans", they both have some skills (counterpunching, etc) and also some deficiencies (power). I've seen both in stinkers but I think this may turn out to be a relatively entertaining scrap. It would take a lot for Monroe to get a decision over there and I don't see him stopping BJS. Close, disputed decision for Saunders in a sometimes entertaining, exciting tactical fight.Neither of these guys really **** - they're both defensive counter punchers - and, dare I say it, when on form both are pretty skilled operators. On neutral territory I'd call this pretty much an even fight - although one almost guaranteed to be a snorefest for those who like high octane action. Problem is it ain't on neutral territory and I can't see the mongoose's style winning him close rounds in the UK - and every round will probably be a close round because nothing much will happen. Shame really cause I think potentially it could be a good fight and I think both guys are decent fighters, but Saunders has no motivation to take any more risks than he has to and Monroe will have to fight in a style that plays into Saunders' hands to stand any realistic chance of winning. Still. Will watch.

BJS is a prick of the highest order. He's not a draw and is begging the public for attention but he's not popular. He's not credible, and he's saying things that in the street might get him shot. Protectionist prick I don't like those things at all.Comment

Saunders can drop quality opponents with his power, whereas Monroe can only drop middle/bottom tier fighters with his. I'd expect a lot of what you say will play itself out in the course of the fight, but I wouldn't be the least surprised if BJS drops Monroe at least once on the way to either a late stoppage or a wide points win. Yes, maybe with a little help from UK judges, but even in the U.S. I think Saunders gets the W. Rooting for Monroe to knock the yellow outta Hoe Saunders teeth!
I think Willie should fight Saunders on the inside and go for the body all nite and then the head late as How Saunders will tire out in 9th round!Comment
