Yes I totally agree. If he the jab is successful he won't deviate until possibly later in the fight. My thought was Canelo wouldn't sit there and continue to get shredded. Because Golovkin's jab isn't an Olympic jab it is a power jab that does real damage. IMO I've never seen Canelo deviate from his plan even when it isn't working well. But if he realized I'm getting beat and I need to get around this and mix it up then I think the fight warms up. So essentially I'm in agreement with what you are saying.
You're assessment is probably more likely to occur vs. mine. for when Golovkin would step up the pressure is probably more accurate. I simply would rather not wait too long and be down on the score cards 4-1 before really bringing the heat.
Using another sport as an analogy I'd rather be closer to the front running than stalking from too far back and then needing to close the gap in the final meters.
Should be fun to see how it all plays out.
so, Canelo is nothing special..... but, you expect him to be up 4-1 early?Comment

If rounds are close I think he'll get the benefit most likely. I'm saying if Golovkin isn't dominating with his jab and Canelo is going solid work, whether getting the better or simple staying even he could be up pretty substantially on the cards.Comment

how could Canelo "be up pretty substantially on the cards"..... if he is nothing special?
bot trying to be difficult, but that does not make sense
unless Golovkin is nothing special..... ?Comment
