All those 3 fighters are more elusive than Golovkin. In addition he has probably trained to have more power for this fight. Those 2 combined would allow him to think like that.

Also, he can't go into a fight with the mentality "I don't think it's possible for me to ko GGG" that would be very damaging and limiting leading him to need a completely different game plan.

I really like how hungry Canelo appears to be for this fight but realistically there is almost no chance he KO's GGG. It'd be shocking and unexpected, sort of like Martinez-Williams II.

I thought the same thing about ward and we saw him hurt the Krusher pretty good. I didn't think it could happen.

Neither fighter I think has good condition. I don't think GGG can carry his power past the 6th round. Canelo can pull away on points.

Perhaps I overstated when I called GGG Vic the crab Darchinyan, but we have seen what happens when these europeans (the matrix excluded) get in the ring with a proper boxer. Canelo stays off the ropes, and moves, he should be fine.

Canelo wins this fight. He is peaking at the right time.

              none of the believers did

              ALL of the doubters did

Golovkin is a destroyer, if you are "available"..... but far less effective, if you are a mover/spoiler

knowledgeable posters have been saying that for a loooong time

              Jacobs/Rozier knew

My favorite is how GGG knock everyone out. There is no doubt he is strong but c'mon, Canelo is no Geale, that Cotto knocked out as well. The resumes cannot be fairly compared. I have yet to buy into the hype of GGG. Before Lemuix fought GGG no body cared about him. He is by no means world class, just an entertaining fighter for hardcore fans to watch. If GGG wins convincingly I will hop on the the wagon. Till then...

i wonder what is canelo gonna do against little g's jab. he talked like he hasnt considered that game plan. 3g isnt gonna fight like mexican style. he's gonna do exact the same thing to lemieux or jacobs. i hope he has considered what is he gonna do against 3g's jab. this is the key to win.
