Because styles make fights. You named three skilled boxers. 3 i think GGG would stop eventually but we've never seen Canelo intentionally train for a knock out.

Triple G does have skills, he is just not a mindless slugger. Both fighters will fight into the other strengths. A KO is always possible because boxing is the theater of the unknown but odds are the Canelo will not KO him

Lol @ all the people thinking canelotoe is going to win. Yet the vegas odds on GGG is getting higher, meaning money is coming on GGG by all the smart people.

GGG is gonna batter Canelo. Canelo takes rounds off and doesnt hit hard enough to get GGGs respect. And what's with all this GGG is gonna get tired non sense? Canelo is the one with a history of taking rounds off and fightin in spurts. Good luck doing that vs someone who presses the action. Throw in Canelos cement feet he wont be hard for GGG to find. "Canelo gonna twist his upper body and shoulder roll like Floyd doe!!!" Good luck trying that with GGG as hes gonna punish canelos body if he does that silly ****. I slightly favor Canelo, I actually think Golovkin will be a good style for him offensively..... if he survives, he will win

but I would not bet a dollar on that fight, or any similar fight

in saying that, I would not be surprised if Canelo won by TKO

those 36yo legs are not accustomed to going 12 HARD rounds..... it will be intense, and energy sapping...... Golovkin will miss a lot of punches, and cop a lot of that nasty bodywork..... G-man is tough, but boxing is a young mans game

That's actually what I most curious about??? GGG rarely has been even past round 8. And only one time past 12 but it wasnt 12 HARD, action packed rounds. It was against a fighter that knows he has to protect his chin 1st.

That and how Canelo takes a true MW punch with power???

Ward thinks Canelo will probably win if he can take GGG's punches and if not he'll get TKO'd.

These unknowns are why I'm just betting on the over. IMO I think it goes 12 rounds and all 3 judges don't score any fight alike. So thinking for sure SD or MD.

Trout has never been KO'd either and he just barely lost to the NEW boogeyman.
