Here is the reason I think GGG isn't going to win. He only has one way to win, by KO. That's it.

Let's use basic sports knowledge here. An athletes prime they say is when you are 27-31 years of age. This isn't bias, just generally known. When GGG and Canelo sparred, canelo was a teenager, 19 yrs of age , GGG was in his prime. Hungry 27 year old, in prime shape. Back then, he was unable to shake a teenage Canelo. From what I've read and heard it was fairly even. So an undeveloped teenager was facing a prime GGG and walked out unphased. Now you got Canelo facing good opposition. And even if you don't agree, the people he fought had real skill. They had good ring generalship and styles that could be difficult at times. In that same time who has GGG fought. Honestly. Give me a house hold name that was good enough that even the main stream sports fan knew who they were? He's fought C+ fighters at best. Canelo fought the best in his division and people who had legit skill. I'm looking for a good fight but if I were going to put my money on someone. I don't see how GGG beats him unless it's by knock out. I could see Canelo school GGG. Frustrate him with speed. Movement. GGG is a handsome Vic Darchinyan that's it. One dimensional fighter. Has a punchers chance. But that's it. But a punchers chance is all you need. But if I were going into a fight I'd rather have Canelos skill over GGG,s power.

I think you are wrong. May start out that way but Golovkin knows he can't be in a close fight. I think he'll start out using the jab and seeing how effective Canelo is and what his plan of attack is. If it is close I think he'll put the pedal to the metal and ratchet up the pressure. I think by round 3 the fight will be on. If the jab is tearing up Canelo he'll come inside. If it isn't Golovkin will know he needs to bring the heat.

It won't be Hearns-Haglar, that was an unbridled war from round 1 until it finished.

Plenty of guys who have succeed at his age in all sports.

Canelo isn't a big mover. He hasn't schooled most of his best opponents.

If you think he's Vic you are on the outskirts of the boxing community, in the boonies.

He has more than a puncher's chance, guy didn't win 37 fights and have the amateur career he did by just having a big punch. He beat another excellent fighter (and I don't care what you guys say) by just his power. He won that fight principally with his jab.

Props to Canelo if he wins, but he's going to need to be a top notch fighter to do so. Golovkin IMO is much better than you've painted him.

i agreed. cant see it unless ggg comes out wild with his guards down. i know styles makes fight and ggg will come to canelo so this is a little different from cotto, lara and trout, if canelo ko ggg it has to be late in the rounds and ggg completely gassed. im still going with ggg stopping canelo.

Doug fisher also said Canelo would beat Mayweather, this is not a good resource and that is who wrote the main article in question. Doug Fisher likes to find the next big thing. In GGG if he were wrong no damage done, but if he's right he looks like a guru.

Trout has never been KO'd either and he just barely lost to the NEW boogeyman.

                Lara?? Never been TKO'd.

Cotto took a BEATEN for 11 rounds with a guy who LOADED his gloves you dumb ***! And Pac needed to drain him and was probably on PEDs...

*** for that matter I can say why couldn't GGG KO Jacobs like Pirog did?? Or why he knocked him down the exact same amount of times as Pillow Fists did???
Cotto and trout would get massacred by triple ggg and would not even see past 4 rounds ....now settle down and get your money ready for this fight that's the only thing you should be focusing on ....game on

Canelo will take that jab away early and set traps. It's what he does

GGG is gonna batter Canelo. Canelo takes rounds off and doesnt hit hard enough to get GGGs respect. And what's with all this GGG is gonna get tired non sense? Canelo is the one with a history of taking rounds off and fightin in spurts. Good luck doing that vs someone who presses the action. Throw in Canelos cement feet he wont be hard for GGG to find. "Canelo gonna twist his upper body and shoulder roll like Floyd doe!!!" Good luck trying that with GGG as hes gonna punish canelos body if he does that silly ****. That works vs smaller guys with mediocre power.

No way canelo sees 12 rounds
Took the words right out o my mouth.... unless canelo has vastly improved his conditioning he's in trouble.... ppl read to much into headlines, "canelos training for a knockout " all of a sudden he's a beasts
