That's how promoters are they get ahead of themselves just like Ellerbie saying they had broken the May-Pac record before they actually did.I'm not saying the record won't be broken, but at this point, were putting the cart before the horse. There's no guarantee that those ticket buyers will show. I bought 2 tickets for GGG-Lemieux, but when my gf couldn't go that weekend, only one of us was actually in attendance.Comment

This info on Wilder isn't completely wrong. His fight with Spiizka sold over 12k tickets; 12,668 (after an originally planned 9k crowd) and did over $1 million live gate at Barclays.
I attribute that to Lou's ability to promote a fight at Barclays. He's promoted three of the top four events in boxing at that venue. All of which have come in the last 18 months or so.Comment

many sold to the 3rd parties who then increase the price of tickets
its a propaganda press release from hearn
and I read that the hotel prices are unaffordable with it being 500 pounds a night in central Cardiff for that date so I wont be surprised if the attendance falls well short of capacityComment

and so-called hardcore fans on this forum are celebrating profile rather than resume or skill. its a shame
an increased profile is exploited by promoters to sell casuals bs mismatches, you would think so-called hardcore fans would wanna prevent this by educating casuals.Comment

If Joshua can draw 75k for pulev, if wilder goes over there, they will have to put it in the absolute biggest stadium in UKComment
