Instead of always focusing on the negative side of boxing, why dont we just focus on the positive for once?

Here we have a heavyweight beltholder who can become a global name not just in the game of boxing but in all sports.
He sells out two stadiums fights in a row.

How can you be mad about that?

Most of us know that boxing can be fishy.
But lets be happy that heavyweight boxing is in a good place right now.

No doubt AJ is the biggest star in boxing right now with back to back stadium fight sell outs, if only wilder's team took the whyte offer a bit more seriously, if he beat him, they could have made the Joshua/Wilder fight even bigger, massive even.

Nope. No casual fan in the UK knows who Wilder is. For good reason. He's a nobody.

So after Wlad keeping the HW crown in Europe for over 10 years...looks like status quo.

The only guy I see beating Joshua is maybe, maybe the Gypo King...

I'm all in on Joshua, but it looks like USA HW boxing is out of the picture yet again, unless someone jumps onto the scene out of nowhere.

But does it really mater for boxing?

Whenever they fight, it'll be in Vegas. The live gate will do more money than they can do in the UK. But most importantly, the PPV money will be much much higher in the US.

The UK PPV will sell 1 million regardless of where they fight. But the US PPV generates the big dollars. Hearn has said this multiple times. He wants the US PPV money.

It's only in the UK. Big f'n woop.

Sell out tickets in America and then you can brag.

Yeah but Wilder is not any kind of star here nor is Joshua so that PPV is not gonna sell anyway.

and I read that the hotel prices are unaffordable with it being 500 pounds a night in central Cardiff for that date so I wont be surprised if the attendance falls well short of capacity
big money can only be good for the sport so of course some of us are happy for him

He need to try his luck in the U.S. This guy will be the next big thing in boxing. Notice, we don't need HBO or the likes to tell us he is the next big thing.
