Crawford vs The World
Any more boxing rivalries that lie ahead?

I'm probably not making myself clear enough.
All these fighters you guys have been mentioning were already established.
Relatively speaking.
Most of them could headline fights on their own.
I was thinking of fighters that can't seem to make it despite being in the sport for too long. And the obvious solution, imho, would be coming up with good pairings.
I already mentioned Lubin vs Charlo, Andrade vs Lara, Jacobs vs Charlo2 are good examples.
Meaning there's no GGG, Canelo, Cotto in the mix.
Pairings that could launch their stardom in new heights without having to depend on someone else's popularity.
Lubin, for example, beating Charlo would be huge.
Same thing with either Lara/Andrade or Charlo/Jacobs.Comment

I think Conlan/Stevenson and Benavidez/Ramirez (168) will be rivalries down the line. Also Valdez/Diaz jr. could be a good one.Comment

Ah ok ok ok I get you.I'm probably not making myself clear enough.

And its funny that you named certain fighters who should be fighting each other.
Charlos v Lara v Andrade should all have happened by now but they are all too busy being inactive or fighting nobodied. Heck, some of those guys are under the same dman management lol It's their own fault no one gives a **** about them.
The same can be said for the difficulties and lack of intent in getting Thurman v Spence going or Spence v Porter, or throwing Khan into that mix. Again, all under the same damn management. Heck, thurman v Porter was delayed multiple times...none of these guys are superstars (barring Khan to a certain extent) so the whole, bs, we need to marinate crap doesnt apply either.
Again, no one to blame but themselves.
GGG is a recognisable name because he beat the best mws of his generation. Canelo is a name because he went through a string of very good 154 pounders and is 1-1 against future HOFers.
Canelo is younger than Lara right? Charlos? Andrade?
Pathetic.Comment

That's exactly the point.
These guys have to recognize that the gold is right within their own backyard.
They don't have to wait for Canelo or Cotto's attention.
I'm hoping Lubin vs Charlo would turn out well.
Even better if Lubin wins, though I doubt it.
What or who are they waiting on anyways?
Why not fight each other and assert dominance?
These are good wins.
They could actually chart their own careers by pairing up with each other and not have to wait for some superstar to come in to their lives.Comment

Bottom line is with or without rivalries, Canelo, GGG, Joshua, Wilder, etc. would be okay.
These undercard fighters who have been struggling to make it needs to find another path to make it on their own. They need a partner.
Lara and Andrade, for example, are making a huge mistake avoiding each other.Comment

I don't think that rivalry would be happening anytime soon.
Spence can't even get fights within his own PBC backyard let alone outside of it.
Like mentioned, such names will be okay with or without rivalries.
That's why this thread is really more about guys like the Charlo brothers, Williams, Andrade, Lara, Lubin, Jacobs, etc.
There's potential explosion pairing these guys up.
Lubin vs Jermell turning out well would revolutionize it.
These guys are not seeing it, but they could strike gold and make the same kind of money established guys have been making.
In other division I see Felix Diaz vs Adrian Granados, etc.Comment
