Spence vs Crawford or Thurman will also be good.

If the best fight the best that's good for boxing and good for bringing in the money. I don't think the boxers should make a big deal out of disliking the other boxer. There is no need for that and it seems unprofessional. Just fight. The fans will watch and the money will be there. Canelo and GGG are friends and they don't disrespect each other. They both predict victory for themselves but they both have nothing but praise for each other's abilities. Jacobs and Jemall should fight. Andrade and Lara should fight. No animosity is needed. Just fight.

I was really thinking of Jermell Charlo vs Erickson Lubin when I made this thread.
It's got the potential of becoming a FOTY.
That is if it turns out well. If not, forget about it.
It could also be a game changer where these guys don't have to mention the likes of Cotto, Canelo, etc. to promote themselves.
They could reach star status on their own.
For one thing, Lubin beating Charlo is a huge upset, make no mistake.
Charlo would then demand a rematch, thus a potential trilogy.
Good thing about it is there's genuine animosity between the two.
          These guys could strike gold.

Can't wait to see this fight. It's good that it's only a few weeks away.

Canelo/GGG has the potential to be a trilogy.

I'm really hoping that Crawford/Spence is a rivalry. That would be awesome

What you are saying is correct but hatred brings the casuals in which obviously boosts sales. Haye vs bellew being a prime example.

                Those are good rivalries.
But those are already established fighters.
Meaning, they don't have to tweet some superstar's name to become relevant. And any one of them can headline fights on their own.
I was talking about guys who are not making a dent despite being in the sport for a long time.
We need rivalries that don't involve a known name in the mix.
                I have already mentioned
                Lubin vs Charlo
                Andrade vs Lara
                Jacobs vs Charlo 2
                Who else?

Rivalries don't always equate to hate.
That's not even my intention for this thread.
I mentioned Gatti vs Ward, who became good friends after three grueling fights.

GGG v Canelo can carry on if the fight is competitive.

AJ v Wilder/Fury is going to be entertaining if and when.

Frampton v LSC is unfinished business, Frampton v Quigg 2 possibly, all the guys at super fly.

                      Tonnes of rivalries left.
