Great fight. How about Cuadras back? Roid much? Lol!

HBO was obviously in the tank for Cuadras. They ignored just about all of Estrada's excellent work early and his impressive work as the rds went on. I am surprised HBO did not just ignore the knockdown and talk over it about how Estradas is not doing enough. For example, Estrada wobbled Cuadras with a right had just before the end of the 9th rd (same punch he knocked him down) and HBO refused to call it.

I was thinking the same thing. Hell max argued with Harold during the fight when Harold said see hard right hand and max said that didn't land and it didn't and ward had said he looks like Estrada will come on in 2nd half n he did. Harold was adamant when Carlos was winning but when Estrada starting digging in his enthusiasm went out the window. Smh

I enjoyed this fight immensely because it was entertaining and also an excellent litmus test where you can really see how fans and judges rate a fighters work and what styles they naturally appreciate more. Both guys were about the same height and weight in the ring, similar age, records and evenly matched but brought different skill sets to the ring.

I thought Gallito won a clear decision. Others seem to think Cuadras edged it, including posters on this board that I respect and know are knowledgeable fans of the sport. I don't think I'm anymore right then they are but it definitely shows the various aspects of the game that different fans appreciate.
