Good fight! I thought it could go either way but had Estrada winning close.

Excellent fight!!! I didn't score it but it felt as though Cuadras may have edged it although I have no issue with the decision. Estrada was so adept at partially blocking a huge percentage of Cudras' punches. I have to give it to Estrada for following his game plan to a t. Would love to see a rematch!! Peace.

          HBO for Cuadras

HBO was obviously in the tank for Cuadras. They ignored just about all of Estrada's excellent work early and his impressive work as the rds went on. I am surprised HBO did not just ignore the knockdown and talk over it about how Estradas is not doing enough. For example, Estrada wobbled Cuadras with a right had just before the end of the 9th rd (same punch he knocked him down) and HBO refused to call it.

They kept calling Estrada the vet in the ring when both men have a similar record and Cuadras is indeed, the older fighter .

Estrada is a great fighter. Reminds me of JMM how he throws those beautiful clutch combinations of hooks and uppers. Please make him vs. Inoue or chocolatito next.

                  Chocolatito has beaten Estrada already.

To echo a few other posters, I was watching a different fight then Lederman and the rest of the HBO team; I saw the early rounds even and Estrada dominate the 2nd half. Cuadras threw looping punches and Estrada pressed the action with short, sharp punches. When Gallito landed cleanly, Cuadras head was snapping back and he was dancing away. El Principe was breathing from his mouth a few rounds before HBO noted it, I had the fight 116-111.

If HBO did thee homework they would of known what I know and many fans of Estrada know and that is he owns the late rounds. That is when he comes on and breaks down fighters. He is like Barerra, Marquez, and Morales. He keeps his poise under pressure, he has an iron jaw, he does not waste a lot of punches, when he throws he lands. He jab was popping Cuadras's head back all night. He started hurting Cuadras in the 8th rd and the end of the 9th he wobbled him with the same right hand he knocked him down the next rd. The guy has all the traits of a great fighter.
