Yes. usyk is also bigger and just as quick and athletic. It would be lomachenko vs rigo all over again.

I'd like to see how that would play out

I believe he is, and even If he wasnt the size would be too much. Ward wrestles with guys to control what they do, usyk is just a larger man with nearly every physical advantage. GAssiev, briedes, and usyk would bully him. I like ward but how he fights wouldn't work with bigger stronger guys

All the usual race baiting fanboys (cutthroat, kev etc) were claiming CW was a really weak division and Usyk 'struggled' with Huck (won every round and stopped him), 'went life and death with michael hunter' (won 10/12 rounds and battered hunter so terribly in the 12th that he hasnt fought since)

On that basis, Ward wins a clear UD over usyk BUT now hes actually been in a competitive fairly close fight that basically means Ward stops him in round 1.

My opinions not changed. Breidis, Dorticos, Gassiev all knock him out badly.

Ward never fought at this weight and his conditioning would likely suck with all the extra muscle against a bigger iron chinned pressure fighter with great cardio like Usyk.

Usyk could just "Margarito" him and walk him down. Ward doesn't have the slick footwork to evade Usyk for 12 rounds and there's no way Ward could legitimately hurt the huge iron chinned cruiserweight which means that the much bigger Usyk would constantly be in front of him.

Ward started to fade against Froch, he would be gassed after half of the fight with Usyk just like Breidis was. People underrate the effect on cardio when a bigger guy with a reach advantage is walking you down constantly. If he tried inside fighting it would wear him down more than it would wear down Usyk too.

There's a reason why weight classes exist.

Many people are underestimating Wards victories over Kovalev. Hindsight is 20/20, but Kovalev was top 5 P4P... I don't think Usyk is even in the top15 P4P

My only question is will Ward's stamina go with him at CW? The skills will always be there

After beating Briedis and unifying the WBC and WBO cruiserweight belts, Usyk is definitely top 15 p4p.

Maybe even top 5 p4p. Wins over Briedis, Huck, Hunter, Mchunu, Glowacki, in a stacked cruiserweight division, to follow a stellar amateur career.

It is because of this I think Ward moves up, if he can get by Bellew(which I think he will) I think he beats Usyk as well.

Before people think I'm either trolling or that I'm just crazy, I remember predicting something in the past people laughed at me for.

                    Example:

Time will tell if I was correct about GGG. Has only fought Jacobs and Jacobs beat him in my eyes and in the eyes of many others.

Clearly lost the first fight, 85% of all viewers thought so too.
Cheated in the second fight and had a ref that allowed him to do it with impunity. Ward is a fake, he knows it and true boxing fans know it.
