Ward Beats Usyk

First don’t forget the Barrera fight and what he did to a slower opponent and it wasn’t hold. He just controlled distance and picked him apart.I believe he is, and even If he wasnt the size would be too much. Ward wrestles with guys to control what they do, usyk is just a larger man with nearly every physical advantage. GAssiev, briedes, and usyk would bully him. I like ward but how he fights wouldn't work with bigger stronger guys
Now the size would be a problem but it helps that he’s not a heavy hitter. But skill wise, I don’t even think it’s really close. Dre is one of the most seasoned vets in the game and he retired #1 p4p, no way is usyk more skilled.Comment

all this. people forget that kovalev outboxed ward in the first fight, uzyk isn't just too big, but too goodHe was outboxed by a limited as hell Kovalev who practically has only two punches in his entire locker (Jab, straight right) and has no inside game.
Usyk is not only much bigger but has vastly superior footwork, ring generalship, combinations and counterpunching, a southpaw to boot.
How does Ward beat him? With lowblows and rabbit punching? Huck already tried that.
Usyk would beat the **** out of Ward.Comment

Except ward was p4p #1 and showed up on several big stages in different weight classes. So no not really rigo. What makes you think usyk, who didn’t even look more skilled than briedis, has more skills than a future HOFer?Comment

Stop it. He’s feather fisted and had a tough tough time tonight when fighting off the back foot. He throws a lot of punches and fast for his size but nothing Dre hasn’t seen beforeComment

85% of the boxing public thought Kovalev beat Ward?
Harold Ledderman has a great deal of influence over the boxing public, obviously.
Secondly, remember at the beginning of the 2nd fight when Weaks pointed to what was fair on Kovalev's trunks? Ward obviously hit the target Weaks pointed to, not making his shots lowComment

You are right,And i'm not saying ward isn't one of the best boxers in the world but he's more of an intelligent boxer rather than supremely skilled. He finds ways to neutralize guys and use the advantages he has against them, but when your 5'11 with a 71" reach its gonna be hard to find ways to beat guys 6 '3 with a 78" reach advantage who are nearly as skilled as you are. That 25 pounds is a massive difference and we have no idea what his speed, cardio, and strength will look like. Jumping from 168 to 175 is nothing compared to 175 to 200First don’t forget the Barrera fight and what he did to a slower opponent and it wasn’t hold. He just controlled distance and picked him apart.
