who cares just put them on ignore, it's always the same race baiters who love boring feather fisted cheaters like ward and then say usyk is boring overrated and feather fisted

I still don't quite know what Huck was doing in the tourney if the division is supposedly so stacked. I'd like to see WBSS for other weight classes that are actually stacked with no 'filler' opponents like Huck.
Huck is an old school fighter and a real Balkan Slavic warrior. You can tell that he genuinely loves to fight. His dirty fighting is a result of that as well, he does it with passion. He's not doing this for his legacy or money, he's doing it because he simply loves to fight. This guy never cherrypicked opponents in his life and has been in there with who's who of the cruiserweight division + big bad PEDvetkin. A lot of those fights were wars.

Too bad that most people here don't understand German or Serbian, Huck's interviews and sense of humor is legendary.

If Huck was an American fighter in the old school era of boxing he would go down as one of the legends. Sadly modern boxing doesn't appreciate fighters like him.

Well, super 6 was great, but what was washed up Jermaine Taylor doing in there?

Never going to get every fighter you want in an 8 man ourney the way boxing is these days. But they got 3 of the 4 belts. And only belt they are missing should have been lost but wasnt due to bs politics (Lebedevs title wasnt on the line when he lost to Gassiev).

        Still got:

        Breidis vs Perez
        Dorticos vs Kudryashov
        Gassiev vs Wlodaczyk

        to go.

3 decent fights that should set up some brilliant semi's between Breidis/Gassiev/Usyk/the winner of Dorticos/Kudryashov if the favourites win.

Hell of a tourney that all boxing fans should be supporting

You know what's amusing about the bold? That I actually said the same thing. Just the other day I compared Huck being in the WBSS as pointless as Jermain Taylor being in the Super 6. So you're barking up the wrong tree in regard to that specific example. I agree they were both filler, name opponents that were both pointless.

Usyk gets hit too much? You need to watch fights more closely he was picking off virtually all of those right hands with his gloves.
He took a couple downstairs and absolutely bare minimal notable right hands up top through 10 rounds.

He has one of the best defenses in the sport and certainly in his division through to heavyweight. His footwork for a 200lb man is fantastic as is his head movement and guard.
Watch closely rather than going off the crowd cheering everytime they hear a thud.

This was supposed to be the worst fight of the tournament but it was a war. I thought Huck showed up this time unlike in the Briedis fight. Usyk is just too good. Hard to see any cruiser beating him. Even at heavyweight I'd pick only Joshua over him.

                  Fair enough

Id say you have unreasonably high standards if having 3 belt holders (and the top 3 ranked boxers) in the 8 man tourney, plus a few decent prime contenders (Kudryashov, Dorticos) and former belt holders (Huck, Wlod) doesnt represent a stacked lineup

Even got a wildcard in Perez as well. Always looked skilled but small at HW. Now he's at Cruiser who's to say he wont beat some of the top guys?

I can see what you are saying. In a perfect world it would be Lebedev and Glowacki or something rather than Wlod and Huck. But its about as good as a boxing tourney is going to get

How often can we guarantee that a division is going to have a clear, basically undisputed champion in just a few months of fights?

this spastic actually called cruiser-weight one of the weakest divisions in the sport LOL.

Real boxing are absolutely loving this tournament and rightly so, its tremendous.
only the race baiting hipsters seem to hate on it for some reason?

the super 6 is not even close to this tournament, it was marred by multiple injuries and pullouts with losers still fighting again? that format is awful. if you lose your out, this format is perfect IMO
