I only consider a fight a duck if the 2 fighters share the same weight class and there's a clear demand by the public or a mandate for the two fighters to fight.

The only other exception to this rule is if a fighter is willing to move down or up to another fighters weigh class and there's a clear demand for the fight.

But what if there is a clear demand by the public to fight several guys and you just dont get to them all while you are in a division?

Or, what if you are known as a guy that goes up or down in weight but chooses not to go up or down for a fight that would clearly be well received?

There's levels to this and what we call a duck by one fighter should be readily applied to the next one.
