Boxers have far superior punching ability than an MMA fighter, if they can catch an MMA fighter with one punch, they are going to sleep. MMA is completely different. Im not a fan of MMA at all, you can be great at one style of fighting and win a title. Thats what makes it interesting, but in boxing you need to be an elite level boxer to win a title. Boxing will always be the more interesting sport in my eyes.

If you're talking about MMA rules yeah they have an advantage in the cage like boxers do in their sport, but in a street fight always remember that street fights have no rules-boxing and MMA does. It won't matter whether you're a boxer or MMA fighter. A street fight is much different than a boxing or MMA match.

In UFC fights they're all trained to defend against takedowns and slams. Somehow this fact went over your little head.

A boxer to an MMA fighter is like a human sized toy, we could do whatever the hell we want with you(no ****). See atleast the boxers of the early 20thcentury and before trained in some greco roman wrestling. Today you are so incredibly limited.

You don't have conditioned legs so we could kick them in half. You have zero defense against all the variations of elbow, knee and kick attacks from all ranges and this doesn't even begin to explain the plethora of unlimited ways we can choke you out or break your limbs in whichever way.

Thought this was settled a few weeks ago lol MMA guys don't have elite punching or boxing ability. It's just the nature of the sport.

A guy like AJ with 4oz gloves would KO anybody quickly, but like he said, he doesn't know how to defend against grapples and submissions. So that's a problem.

But even Dana said he needed to get a few of the HW boxers over to the UFC right before the Mayweather fight. He acknowledged that the UFC didn't have elite HW athletes. (This was an interview on FS1)
