This is dumb logic, and just more crap coming out of their camp. Anyone ever notice that Canelo and his trainers rarely go running to the first camera or recorder they can find and talk this mess, but GGG and Maebel Sanchez always do so. If you really want to get a gauge on actual fights likelihood of happening listen to the promoters not the Boxer and trainer and if you go back before their previous fights both Loeffler and Oscar said that the fight was gonna happen. Loeffler actually being the one saying this fight had to happen their was too much money involved and they both needed to win their upcoming fights to do so ( I'll point out that GGG by some accounts lost or drew to Jacobs, I thought GGG won it by winning the final round.)
So can we quit with the well this fight might now have happened crap. Well GGG you didn't knock Jacobs out and like I previously said won by the skin of your teeth. So if I were GGG and Sanchez I'd be more worried about cleaning some mistakes up rather than running to the press about the whether this fight was gonna happen or not.Comment

common sense. Who is the A side here? It's canelo so GGG's team wouldn't be in the position to demand negotiations dont get out. In an interview as recently as yesterday Oscar said that the fight didn't happen before because Canelo wasn't a middleweight. He says now he is ready for the mw division which is why they took the fight. At no point did he ever say financial demands, ppv split etc, was the hurdle.Comment

I didn't say it was less ******. It could be, because we don't know what he accepted. That was my point.Comment

Golovkin had a true test in Jacobs, the 2nd best middleweight in the division. He was tested, went the full 12th, scored a knocked down, and managed to beat a tough opponent. Canelo fought a drained Chavez Jr. who just stood there like a punching bag and even then Canelo wasn't able to take him out. How in the world will Canelo take out a prime, full-fledged middleweight? Honestly I think Golovkin wins this by late stoppage. The pressure is going to be too much for Canelo.Comment
