Where did he say he carried Jacobs, they've always shown Jacobs nothing but the utmost respect..stop trying to create a narrative that has never been there. The only people talking shh about Jacobs are the morons on here who don't want to acknowledge him as a great fighter.

Everyone with common sense knows golden boy was waiting to see vulnerability in ggg before making the fight. Money excuses, weight excuses, and anything else they threw out there to drag this out went right out the window ggg had 2 subpar performances.

GGG is simply saying that if that had been the case he wouldn't have gotten the Canelo fight AND that it was a good learning experience for him to go 12 rounds with a tough opponent. There is absolutely **** all to suggest that he carried Jacobs you ****ing hater.
I hinestly expected GGG to KO Jacobs. Jacobs fought a perfect plan to protect that chin. Tall, in his back foot, don't engage unnecessarily, stay on the outside. Some great boxer like Lewis, Klitz, learned how to protect their chins later in life and are now HOFamers

This is dumb logic, and just more crap coming out of their camp. Anyone ever notice that Canelo and his trainers rarely go running to the first camera or recorder they can find and talk this mess, but GGG and Maebel Sanchez always do so. If you really want to get a gauge on actual fights likelihood of happening listen to the promoters not the Boxer and trainer and if you go back before their previous fights both Loeffler and Oscar said that the fight was gonna happen. Loeffler actually being the one saying this fight had to happen their was too much money involved and they both needed to win their upcoming fights to do so ( I'll point out that GGG by some accounts lost or drew to Jacobs, I thought GGG won it by winning the final round.)

So can we quit with the well this fight might now have happened crap. Well GGG you didn't knock Jacobs out and like I previously said won by the skin of your teeth. So if I were GGG and Sanchez I'd be more worried about cleaning some mistakes up rather than running to the press about the whether this fight was gonna happen or not.

That's probably true too, but what matters now doesn't really matter either. It's an endless cycle of not mattering...

...but it's entertaining while it lasts.
