A lot of people are going to be crying/complaining when Canelo wins i'm sure.

Its not nailed on that the money fighter/A side wins in LV - but its high odds. Otherwise why would it even be discussed, especially by the fighters themselves?

If it became common knowledge that A sides always won then LV would no longer exist as a fight destination.

If you fight two top, elite opponents who have no name and no fan base that is proof you will take on the best. This is Canelo's first fight at 160. I know he fought Chavez at 164, but come on, that was freakin Chavez Jr. Canelo has one of the best resumes in boxing and he is only 27. Personally, I do not like him at all, but he has shown more cahones than most boxers ever do.
        He does not.
Here is a small challenge for you if you believe that.
        Name 5 fighters he fought.
They have to be younger than 35.
They have to have less than 15 months of lay-off.
They should fight in the same weight class as Canelo.

And for the extra challenge, it would be need to a belt fight.

The age is bs and you know it. Mayweather was p4p #1 without a doubt. But he was over 35.

Trout, Mayweather (who was smaller), Lara, Cotto, and Smith. Again Cotto was over 35, but still a top 3 MW and for the lineal belt. Those five fights over the last four years is taking on better competition than 99% of fighters. Who has a better resume over the same time? Who? F Canelo, he doesn't take on the very best every fight, but he has shown he will fight the best on at least a semi-regular basis. I don't like him and would laugh if he gets ko'd, but come on, who takes a fight like that with Lara?!? No one does, an elite defensive first fighter, with no fans and little name. He deserves mad props for that. As for Khan and Chavez Jr., I ain't gonna hate on a man for doing what's best for him and his family. Two relatively easy wins for near maximum gain.

It doesn't matter, he will fight Jacobs or Charlo or both within the next 18 months. Win or lose against G.

Trout isn't very good. He only has the win over Cotto. And that is it. And some believe that Trout won that fight.
              Mayweather destroyed Canelo.
Lara? The guy too scared to fight anyone in top 10? Ishe Smith, Delvin Rodriguez, Zaveck.. Those are just some of his last fights. All of them old.
              Cotto was old.
Smith? Smith is trash. Brook would demolish Smith.

Keep in mind that knowledgeable sources such as TV Azteca and the British commentators scored the fight for Danny Jacobs.

Mexican and British boxing commentators thought Jacobs won the fight. That's a fact.

You might disagree which is fine. But what bias do you think they had?

                    • Lot of people failing to consider how bulking up like a powerlifter is going to affect Candelita's suspect stamina or speed. If you can't already see the difference in speed from 155 to now, get those eyes checked. They've packed on muscle mass, that doesn't go away like water weight and it's HEAVY plus it'll zap your O2 especially if your stamina is weak to begin with. One more week to go, get those excuses ready.
