Now you're just sounding like the the hyper-partisans on the other side. This is a 55-45 fight no matter which side you look at it from. Canelo has some liabilities, that's for sure, but he is far from a "ponderous Chub".

I don't know if you rewatched this fight, but GGG controlled this fight with his jab.

Jacobs was mostly landing on GGG's gloves, he got some nice shots to the body and head but by spot while GGG methodically beat him with a solid jab.

Jacobs had GGG in his shell being a 6 ft long armed bomber.

GGG knew he was enough scoring with his jab so didn't took risk and hide behind his gloves. He won't fight the same way vs Nelo.
I don't think one has to be biased to think Jacobs won. And I also don't think Jacobs' work was overrated.

Keep in mind that knowledgeable sources such as TV Azteca and the British commentators scored the fight for Danny Jacobs.

Obviously that has to be the strategy for Canelo to bulk up, survive 12 and GB steal the decision. If Canelo steals a decision even if it is ridiculous and laughed at they will not have a rematch. GGG's team must know this. Bombs away.

If BBB side knows he needs a KO to win and doesn't go for it he has no one to blame but himself.
Like Freddie Roach once said, "you let the fight go to a decision, you better be prepared to live with that decision win or lose."

It's called hard work. Not a new thing for a world class athlete with millions.

the point is, losing to a fighter doesnt necesarily means you will pick him to win, and those 3 fighters prove it. some will pick you and some will not...

So this is what I've been reading on this post from what appears to be Golovkin fanboys.

Golovkin is going to run through a world class fighter in Alvarez like he did all those C level fighters he fought. Anyone who thinks otherwise is biased or a hater. Oh and the ONLY reason why Jacobs had that overrated success and didn't get knocked out was because of his size and movement. You know...since weaknesses can't be exposed if you win. It's like...once the judges read the scorecards...all Golovkins tendencies and habits were redacted from history.
