Hauser works for HBO. Now that Top Rank is gone, he won't write great pieces on them anymore. Note that his first article on Top Rank since they left was basically pointing out how their ESPN deal was a Time Buy that they lost last minute. Expect another article on this new deal they have (and how that's really a time buy as well in spite of how Arum words it).

Interesting article but I wish the journalist delved a little deeper. Arum has a way of making reporters not do that. He told you the first go around that it wasn't a time buy but it turned out it was except the investor pulled out. He's somehow managed to pull the same **** yet no one ever wants to ask him financial details. Love him or hate him, gotta admire how he treats the press like putty to be molded into whatever he feels like that day.

Another interesting note is that UFC is trying to get into boxing. Lots of wild stuff ahead.

Yes, thanks. I type to fast for my own good. Lol. They always lob him soft ball questions. You really have to read a lot to put together any real picture of his activities. Journalist these days are just people jumping over each other to publish stuff with no critical thinking. All exclusive deals generally turn sour(including Haymon). Nothing to stop the promoters from being greedy and putting **** fights on their network. Funding snd license fees secured, why would promoters risk their guys for anything less than PPV, with the higher upside.
