Everyone saw that fight. He still couldn't finish him after the bogus call. And people forget that Cintron had been cut by a butt earlier too.

Martinez was not the big bad wolf. Canelo or old Mosely at 154 would have ended him.

I'd like to believe that... But Floyd is a slick piece of shizit..

Well one of those fighters Floyd beat easily KO'd a prime Pacman so he must have been pretty good.

Pisses me off how people use the Cotto fight to prove a point. Martinez was wearing knee braces and shouldn't even have been fighting. Martinez was HURT in that fight so stop bringing it up...

Also Martinez should have fought GGG before Floyd. Martinez was a middleweight & Floyd was a WW only fighting at 154 occasionally for big fights. Floyd was a far superior boxer P4P.

Not a true MW? He had at least 10 fights at MW probably more and was the lineal champ. Cotto beat him when he still had the belt so it counts like it or not. Was he damaged and past his prime? Yeah but so was Cotto. Plus Sergio struggled with guys who were nowhere near Floyds level. I like Martinez and enjoyed his run but if he struggled at times with guys like Barker and Macklin there's no way he would've beaten the greatest boxer of the last 20 years. Despite being two weight classes bigger. Anthony Joshua however, can't see Floyd beating that dude.
