the real question is, it took Gennady 4 years advisory in being ranked under the WBC to get a shot at an interim, all after being elevated to champion within the WBA. Gennady wasn't even ranked in the IBF or WBO. So technically other champions didn't ''duck'' any mandos if he wasn't even campaigning in other ABCs. Had GGG been campaigning in the other ABCs since the advent of his WBA, just like other boxers ranked high in other ABCs, GGG would've most likely had unification bouts LONG AGO!!!

She probably thought, "omg, he thinks a ****** boxing fight is more important than me, and we already watched the big one this year! how dare he!" She should have honored the bet and let you watch the fight, but, as you said, you can't expect logic to reign here. You probably saved yourself a lot of future headaches. A fight like this happens once in like 5 years. You can get another girlfriend in less time than that.

Clearly you have never learned a second language. You learn to write in English (classroom or books) before you can speak it fluently. You have made an assumption that supports your counter argument. It's ok. It's not the end of the world for Trip to use double talk just like EVERY other fighter. He isn't perfect and that's ok.
