Comments Thread For: Haye: Not Holding Breath on Bellew, I Have Four Fights Left

DAVID HAYE is targetting a heavyweight mega fight with Anthony Joshua next year. before hanging up his gloves for good. Haye has not boxed since his defeat to Tony Bellew in March when he ruptured his Achilles tendon. But he is working his way back to full fitness. And, while he revealed the chances of avenging his loss to Bellew are looking slim, he reckons it will not stop him from securing a showdown with Joshua.

At this point David Haye has descended down to a level only previously inhabited by Audley Harrison.

Four fights ? Two which just too get a foot back in the door . I guess he plans on retirement in 2020 bc thats when Joshua will have time for him unless Joshua fights 3 x a year, IF Haye still around .

Haye thinks he can fight the likes of de mori and other baristas and mechanics then call aj out for a fight and accuse him of ducking when he doesn't take it.

You want an aj fight you need to earn it. Ortiz or Parker would be your best shot at jumping the queue. AJ doesn't need him to make money and after the bellew fight I think he's seriously overestimating the public demand for this match up

'Me and AJ. the biggest fight ever on British soil'.What is this guy on? He's just been knocked out by a average career light heavyweight.....12st.7lbs...man.

The caption should read I have four rounds left and that's at a push.

This guy is friends with Amir Khan and I can see why.

He should be crying out for a rematch with Bellew because as he said there's nowhere to go until that is put right. He's forgotten ..........we've not !

It's funny seeing David Haye beg for the Anthony Joshua fight - Haye doesn't like Hearn too - all good drama though. Haye is shot to **** and I see someone putting him in A&E. He will have to risk it to order to get that BIG PAYDAY. Tony Bellew got hustled in the first fight (in terms of money), he should of asked for 50/50. Haye broke as ****?
