You have no idea what you're talking about as per usual.

Once again you come running in nut hugging a white fighter, and displaying that you have none of your information right.

You need to find something more constructive to do with your time than continiously illustrate how ignorant you are.

LOL. You're so funny, Erkel. You get your panties in a bunch over 5% ? ROFL. Ok, maybe it was 65/35, and? Your point? LOL The point of my post remains, and your point is... well, you have none as usual.

Toney called out Vitali on BDSSP. Vitali said "Ok, here you go, here's your title shot." And Toney turned it down. Period. Once it was turned down, they started negotiations with Maskaev, according to Finkel. Then Goosen comes running back, saying "Wait, wait! Ok, we'll do it for 60/40!" And Finkel said they had made an offer to Maskaev and were negotiating with him.

Do you not understand how boxing works? Do you think you can just send out several open contracts and see who signs and faxes it back? LOL What if they all do? Then you're ****ed and have to fight several guys on the same night.

Here are the facts, in case someone was confused by Bozo:

    - Toney was offered a shot at the WBC title by Vitali, and turned it down. (Coming off of a steroid suspesion, and banned by the WBA for 2 years).

    - Toney was offered a shot at the IBF title by Wlad, and turned it down. (Coming off of a blubbery gift draw where he performed at an all-time low as a professional fighter).

If a fighter thinks he can win, he takes a title shot. Period. This wasn't an issue about options, there were none. This was Toney not being confident in his ability to win. If he was, then he would've taken it. ****, Wlad took less to fight SAM ****ING PETER, for no title, when everyone said he'd get KO'd inside of 3. Why did he take it? Because he had confidence in his ability to win.

Guys take title shots for WAY less then what Toney has been offered by both Vitali and Wlad. Why? Because they think they can win a world title, and then the paydays start rolling in. Toney knows he can't win. So he doesn't sign. He's hanging around waiting for an easier fight- ie, the winner of Rahman/Maskaev.

Agonizingly simple. Leave it to my good buddy Erkel to get confused by it all. LOL

Right, because when we're talking Millions of dollars, that's not very significant, is it skip?

Pull your head out of your ass. It couldn't be anymore clear that there was never any intention on Vitali's part to take that fight. The counter offer was made the same week, and Finkle announces they're already too far along with negotiations to fight Oleg Maskaev, who at that time was even more of a joke considering he hadn't even won that hollow 'eliminator' vs Sam.

Fighting Maskaev would have been a tiny purse to split up, and he would have made peanuts compared to a purse a Vitali - Toney show down would have produced. That summed that entire rouse up right there.

Once again, you get caught talking out of your ass and were called on it.

Do you not understand how boxing works?
LOL at you suggesting you do when you're basing your entire opinion on UNVALIDATED banter from Greg Lee-on. And not only do you spout about it like it's fact, you get it all mixed up.

When fighters are being discussed, there is a long negotiation process.

Your list of "Facts" is outright laughable.

Once again, we have a thread full of **** throwing over an unsubstantiated claim from Greg Lee-on.

I know you love to put your foot in your mouth on a regular basis, but so much of your ignorance could be avoided if you'd just stop and think before you post.

Not only do you have none of your facts straight, you're illustrating you have no idea how contracts are negotiated and fights are signed. But listening to Greg Lee-on and taking his word as gospel is right on course with where your credibility is at.

Over the weekend James "Lights-Out" Toney, in a somewhat explicit manner, told **********.com that he is not pleased with and will not be accepting the $1.5M or "chump change" on the table for him to challenge IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko at Madison Square Garden on November 11. There will be much more to follow, including a full one on one interview with Toney. REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! (10:14 PM)."-**********
i dont blame him. if toney took only $1.5 million to face klitschko, he would miss out on one of the biggest paydays of his career.

$1.5 million? there is no way in hell toney's gonna take that little for such a big fight.

Why do you think Vitali did not want to fight Toney?

Put Toney against Brewster or somebody, that might be a fight, but to compare him to (or even mention him) with Byrd, you best to start commentin' on golf or something, mang. Leave boxing to the people that actually watch more than 1 fight. Now Can U Dig Dat!!!!!!

how is toney the guy to beat, when he's failed at 2 world title attempts? and doesnt hold a win at heavyweight over a ranked opponent? and how is byrd, who is skillful boxer, not good enough to compare to toney???

Toney is a has been, and I still love the guys character. He is by no means the man to beat, The man at this time will be Brewster for Wlad to prove hes better than ever. Hopefully Wlad takes Briggs name and Brewster avenges Lyakovich then we will be staring at a possible Klitschko vs. Brewster II.

While the victor wont be undisputed, the winner will be the closest thing to it especially if Wlad wins because Brewster is still scared from his recent lose to the Belarussian.

EDIT: I forgot in order to see Brewster Lyakovich II Lyakovich will have to get past McBride, I dont think that will be all that difficult for Lyakovich because we already know he has a cast iron chin.

Toney didn't want to take a beat down like Byrd did for only 1.5 mil.
