Yeah no kidding. JDJ is a total scumbag.

          • This isn't hard to believe. It seems like some people just don't like the messenger. Kovalev only adjustment in the rematch was to fight harder. Guess what, he gassed even faster. I think even fans of Kovalev would admit he's not a nice guy. Hearing it from Jackson just confirm what we all already suspected.

Seven months prior, Ward had won a highly disputed decision over the "Krusher".

                    • I don't think JDJ did anything wrong. Even prior to both Ward fights you could see their relationship crumbling. JDJ just put clarity on it by saying Kovalev was becoming impossible to train.

That is the exact same reason Abel Sanchez showed Kovalev the door. JDJ was getting a ton of flack and all the blame placed on him. IMO he deserves to be able to give his side of the story. JDJ has had a rough year. He saw Kovalev lose twice under him, saw Hopkins lose under him and Curtis Stevens also.

He has been forced to give his side of the story. He is a reserved guy and would not be doing this if he didn't feel the need to defend his reputation.
