Vitor Belfort was a boxer by trade. He's a UFC legend

So many boxers have made the transition to UFC/MMA and done quite well. As long as you have descent TDD, you will do just fine.

Liddel, Stipe, Rampage, Woodley (good wrestler too) and JDS are all examples of boxers with good TDD.
