    Two different records:

Chavez Sr. holds the record for most wins without a loss or draw to start a career (87-0-0). Keyword: to start a career.

Jimmy Wilde holds the records for most wins without a loss to start a career (96-0-1, 7 NC). Keyword: to start a career.

Mayweather Jr. holds the record for most wins without a loss or draw (50-0-0). Challenge: Link me to one BoxRec page that shows more than 50 wins without a loss or draw.

Jimmy Barry holds the record for most wins without a loss (59-0-9, 2 NC).

Chavez went 16 fights and had a DQ loss that was overturned. It was mentioned in every boxing publications but years later it was changed due to corruption. This doesn't change anything, as JCC is still an amazing fighter. Just like if Floyd had 1-3 losses it wouldn't change anything. He'd still be an amazing fighter.

Virtually every record in every sport is meaningless except to the guy who holds it & often times even him.

And thats what I've been saying to anyone who'd listen about this 49-0 sh^t since I was first heard about it when I was 13 or 14. Been listening to mfers for decades talking about some bs Rocky "record".

Then, research who Buck Smith was and his record...

                    I'm whiter than Chavez Sr

It's true, it's literally not a record. You have to retire for it to be a record. The record would've been at 86-0, before his draw to Pernell and he'd have to retire there.

Lmao! Like I'll believe that! If people who've never seen you before claim you're darker than me, then I'll believe the over you, Kevin Black Jesus.

Also, I totally agree with you. Why the hell Sr is salty about all this is ridiculous. He may have been 50-0 first, but he still ended up losing.

Also, that breakdown you gave of those dudes' records at his landmark fights (i.e. 30, 40, 50) had me ROOOOOOOOOLLLLLLIIIIIIIIINNNNNNG
